If you're interested, don't wait—call us today.Your responsibilities in this role- Continue employee confidence in payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential- Offer proper review and verification of source documents- Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers- Put together summaries of employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to calculate all payroll liabilities- Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines- Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information- Reconcile employee deductions and other liabilities as needed- Preparing relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for circulation to department heads- Supporting all internal and external audits related to payroll- Preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes- Other duties as assigned- Exercise of proper data management by collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data- Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests
